Wingsuit crash... OUCH!

Daredevil Jeb Corliss's 120 MPH crash into a boulder on Table Mountain made international headlines when it happened in January. Today, he has released terrifying footage of the incident, taken from a number of cameras -- including some mounted on his own helmet. Corliss -- outfitted in a black, Batman-esque wingsuit -- flies through the air for several thrilling seconds, until his foot clips a boulder on his lightning-fast descent. The video footage shows Corliss releasing a safety parachute right after impact; observers say that's what saved his life. Corliss -- whose previous stunts include jumping from the Eiffel Tower in Paris and the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur -- broke both legs in the accident. He's been recuperating in a hospital in California since but is due to be released this week.

I didn't know about this accident.
The last video I saw was the Grinding the Crack one where he was 7 to 10 feet from hitting the crack. That looked insane too.:eek:
 
His reaction is incredible. He hits his chute and orients himself incredibly fast after his legs breaking against the rock. I hope he gets to jump again soon. I've watched his stuff before but didn't hear about this.
 
nuts... the hd recording makes the flight look so calm and peaceful... until u see the alternate camera angle where in actuality he's really going so fast that he's barely a blur even whizzing by. o_O
