took the bike to a 1/4 mile drag strip (Maryland International Raceway)

12.86 @ 103.7mph!

Lots of cool guys there on drag bikes. Mostly liter bikes and busas/ZX14's with extra long swingarms. but whatever, it was fun!!!

Finaly coverd the Pink on the bike! Used 3m carbon fiber vinyl. I think it looks ok. Wish it matched better. For $20 bucks its fine. Might wait till winter and remove tank and have something else done.

Added 300 miles today, got back to my garage, did 2000 mile service after cleaning the bike.

Well yesterday I added a tire hugger and removed my passenger pegs. The day before I got my seat cowl and real license plate. Combined with the fender eliminator and integrated tail light I installed last weekend, my rear end is finally looking good.

opened up the friction bolts on the triples and lowered the front 1.5". only wanted to go 1" but gravity got the better of me and without anything holding up the bike, there was no going back up.

took about 45 min to get it even but the riding position feels more comfortable now. i think i'll feel more in control of the bike. now all i need is some of those apex clip-ons.

They both look very nice UNO!! Good job on it.

Gotta find me some nice wax.. I use motorex and works AWESOME for the wash, and the Motorex Plastic care for well the plastics. But want some good wax to coat the bike in too.

Funny.. I used to dread washing the bike.. The I did it at the new house this year and it is SOO relaxing, almost zen like sitting there rinsing, spraying, wiping and rinsing again then drying!
