What did you do to your bike today?

it's this one: 6 Speed Red Universal Digital Gear Indicator for Motorcycle Display Shift Level Sensor

I had a different one called "Datatool" on another bike which is connected to the tscho wires, but this one is way cheaper and easier to install with the same end result.

damn, 18 bucks on flea-bay. Almost worth it just to see if it works...

I'll have to take a hard look at my bike and see how much of a pain in the butt it will be to setup.

Broke her down and removed the headlight...shipped it off to Chad for the retrofitting!

Less than 2 hours. I followed an older thread, but ill put together a new one in my thread with annotations and steps...it definitely helps to have pics and feedback if you've never done it before.

Tightened up my chain, cleaned it and found some clean chain lube finally. Ordered Shogun frame sliders and underbody light kit to match my very near future paint job. Oh yea, went for a nice long ride.

Re-tensioned, cleaned/lubed the chain... Lubed the cables (that EZ Glider kit makes it a piece of cake).

Oh... and tested a new RAM suction mount... held on to everything I stuck it to, over bumps, and up to 85mph...

I installed LEDs in front. I connected them to my flush mounts, so i have them working as turn signals and running lights. Will post pictures later.:D

I'd like to hear more about these, I take it these are 3 wire type LEDs.

Or did you use a relay to add in the functionality of blinker?

The LED are only 2 wires. I added a resistor and diode to my flush mounts and then just connected the LEDs to the same wiring. Real easy to do. I used the step by step instructions from one of the threads here.
