Speed sensor hook up is super easy. I believe the gauge wire you need is 22-24. It goes in one of the ports on the PCV and then using a tap connector or something similar splice into the pink wire of a 3 wire harness. Adv Gear Rev B uses sport map for gears 1-3 and touring 4-6. So better gas mileage and aggressive where you need it to be aggressive. It's loud with it (DBK) but certainly not obnoxious. The instructions with the PCV tell you which port is for speed sensor (I know it's the 3rd one in but not sure from which side offhand). Will literally take less than 5 minutes if you have the stuff to do it.
Did you pull all the plastic off? If not, it's not an "every inch" proper cleaning. Did you pull the fairings, so you can clean what's underneath?
Pulling the rear seat and grab bar, so you can get than bit of yellow cleaned on the backside. That's "every inch."
Didn't do it? I usually don't either. But to be true, that'd be "every inch."
Know what bugs me? The top of the swingarm underneath the chain guard. No way to clean it without removing the chain guard. That's where the chain lube and grit accumulate. I haven't removed the chain guard to clean it, so it's kind of caking up.
Cleaned "every inch?" Sorry to bust on you brother, but you said the words. I'm just questioning them!![]()
Installed t-rex lowering link. Cut and welded kickstand. Installed proton turn signals. Stuck some bright drl in the fake air intake. Installed small eagle eye amber turn signal in the rear with the fender eliminator. Just in time for New England's snow storm!!!!
You're going to love the amber eagle eyes in the FE, I did that do and it lights up entire houses from the middle of the street!!!!
Think that would work well on the r, Anthony? I could see that being a good angle. Link ?
Not allowed to link but it's on the bay. Search for...
Motorcycle Bike Bicycle Handlebar Mount For Contour GoPro+tripod + handle screw...
It was like 13 bucks delivered & is adjustable for different thickness bars. I got it for the thick grab bar on my BUSA so I can take vid of rear looking back. When I had my FZ6R I just used the suction mounts & they worked really well. Here is a vid I made using 4 or 5 angles all using the suction cups on my FZ6R
nice, how is the material for 13 bucks? do you think it will hold up to abuse?
I was gonna get the led tail light / brake light with turn signals but it doesn't seem bright and it has to much going on in a small area. So this Idea seems simple and bright!
