A few more mods
So since I work out of town two weeks at a time, whenever I get back it's like Christmas with all the parts I order before I leave, or while I'm gone, waiting for me when I get back. Here's some of the goodies I put on yesterday before the head cold that's kicking my ass today had fully taken effect.
Carbon fiber chain guard and shark fin purchased from Carbon4U.com:
Shorty levers, as well as RAM mounts for my phone and tablet, as well as a 12V handlebar mount plug in:
Carbon fiber tank corner protectors that I got from a forum member on one of the triumph sites who makes them:
And last but not least, I installed a Daytona 675 rear shock assembly I got used from another forum member there. I don't have a pic of it installed, but here's my redneck hoist to unload the rear swingarm:
I haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but I think it's going to be way too stiff. I may try swapping in my stock spring on the D675 shock, if it's not too short. I may have to end up buying a Racetech spring for it.
Well, that's about all I have to install for now. Next time I get home, I should be putting in a used pair of D675 front forks and brakes.
