This was a really fun ride with some amazing scenery.

Wow. That is an amazing ride.

I grew up in Silverton, and have friends and extended family in Bend, Sisters, Sunriver, and La Pine, so I know that area fairly well.

Definitely on my list: ride for three weeks all over Oregon, including 242 and Aufderheide Dr.

That last pic almost looks like Lava Butte off 97.

These were all taken on 242. Don't know if you've ever been on 242, but these are the lava bed on it.
