Second ride!!!

OK so i promise this is the last #Ride post. I don't want to bore you guys haha. Anyways me and my buddy road almost 200 miles today around random roads i know. I had an amazing day it was about 50-55 out and sunny. We went up and over a huge mountain with some cool roads and took some pictures too. The FZ6R ran great all day, and i only almost laid it down once in some crazy soft mountain sand on a pull off haha. I had about 3-4 cars almost pull out right in front of me and 2 trucks do the same. I now feel like everyone is out to get me Im soo used to my huge lifted chevy and everyone being able to see me no prob. Anyways all and all I love my FZ6R and i LOVE riding motorcycles and i can now turn with out feeling like im gonna fall over. Gaining confidence, my riding buddy has been riding for a few years now and he said im already doing awesome, taking corners like a pro....yay but i think that's a bad thing haha

FZ6R now has about 220 miles on it

awesome!!!!! really looks like you are enjoying the bike!!! its so pretty!! like superman blue!! i put 200 miles on my bike learning how to shift gears, killing the bike, practicing weaving and mastering inclines lol you put a better first 200 than i did!!!!

haha ya thank-you for the complements she is kinda perrrdy aint she, well i ride 5speed wheelers alot so i got shifting down kinda quickly

lucky you, the 6r is my first bike, never rode a bike besides the rebel 250 in my msf, shifting into first was ok, but going into third i had a lot of bucking issues, lol now i wait longer to shift like 6000-7000rpms, and i got a better handle on it! also learned not to pop the clutch downshifting, that was a bit scary lol

the only thing that sucks about a bike in vt is we have LONG winters snow from nov-apr haha right now 80% of the days of any given week the temp is under 40 lol

The roads here in Vermont are literally amazing for motorcycle riding. I suggest going down near Bolton Valley off of I-89, I think it's route 2. The scenery is literally spectacular. Besides the routes you posted, any other suggestions?

lucky you, the 6r is my first bike, never rode a bike besides the rebel 250 in my msf, shifting into first was ok, but going into third i had a lot of bucking issues, lol now i wait longer to shift like 6000-7000rpms, and i got a better handle on it! also learned not to pop the clutch downshifting, that was a bit scary lol

oh my ya this is the first road bike i have ever rode, and shifting is ALOT different for a 1cyl 450cc wheeler that im used to. i have rode my lil bros 125 dirt bike a few times... last time i ate shit going about 45-50 on the front lawn and cut my arm up so i was keeping it to 4 wheels for a wile. i was acutely out in Vegas a month ago my uncle lives there =P

Ya well rt17 is pretty awesome going over the mountian
my dad was saying rt 73 over the mountian and back on 125 would be nice
also i know alot of random back roads i just kinda throw together routes haha

Vermont riding is beautiful but the roads are shitty haha gotta watch for sand cracks/potholes everywhere

My is off for you sir.. and all Service Men on both sides of the border. My Dad was in Italy (WW2,,West Nova Scotia Reg) and my Uncle was in the R.A.F. fighting Nazi's in Greece in a Bristol Blenheim. BTW i love that Yamaha Blue.
