Yea, I feel naked w/o my ring as well. I also get completely frantic, only to realize, "Oh yeah, took it off to wash the car/bike. It's on the workbench! Now WHERE on the workbench is an entirely other matter..." 
This ring's kinda risky... if something falls on it, the finger gets cut off. It's a tungsten ring, so it doesn't scratch and is a nice dark chrome kinduva color. That part is good. But it's so hard, it cannot be cut off, so if something were to happen... off with the finger!
