G'day all,

I have been around this forum for a while now and after looking at all your great looking bikes decided to post up some pics on my 6R and the mods i have made which haven't been easy to get as living down under with a not so popular bike isnt really the best thing

Iphones have their uses lol Yeh i love the Black & Gold theme aswell. So glad i got this bike, looks awesome and is a great beginner bike that will last me for years to come

Looks slick! Really loving the black and gold theme you have going on. Even the TBE matches your bike! All you need now is flush-mount signals to go with that sweet FE!

Is that factory gold or custom? ...maybe it's the photo's but it looks glossier than the others I have seen on the road ... either way nice one.

The decals are factory, I have put aftermarket bar ends, oil cap and brake and clutch levers on. I didn't want to go over the top but thought it accents the bike nicely IMHO.


Just clicked over 3000kms (1800miles) today, mainly weekend riding. Using the bike to commute this year (50kms return trip) so I'll be racking up some more milage.

I with they would use the brighter gold rims like on the 08 fz1. Those were so beautiful. These are very cool too though

Lol we call them rubbish bins down here. There is 3 in total, red lid general waste, green lid organic products, yelloW lid recycling. We are really big on recycling down here.

I think like 50% or more of Aussies are obese so were not far behind the states. Plenty of people with diabetes and heart disease and it keeps growing

items in fz6r oil store on eBay!

I bought the cap of eBay, the same site that u mentioned ^^. It fit my bikes so will fit yours, the only thing I don't like about it is that it's doesn't sit totally flush like the stock one, but not that much to notice. I think it adds colour to a bare area

There is gold stem caps on there but I'm not sure if I like them as they are a different gold to what is already on the bike.

Cool! Thanks for verifying. Yeah, I would love to add a touch of red to that area.

When you say it doesn't sit totally flush, does it look/feel like it seals the oil hole though? I just don't want anything getting in there, or coming out, that shouldn't be.
