Apparently the new PC didn't come with any editing software, so I'm having to find something to be able to edit...

what software did you end up using ? Great start

Camtasia Studio 8. Right now I'm on a 30 day trial. Seemed to work pretty well.

Look for it via "windows live suite". It is part of a package where you can choose components such as Live Mail, Live movie and some other stuff.

Good job! Quality only came out in 480... Make sure when you save the edit that you are saving it in the same as it was taken in.. 720 or 1080.

I did not. This is my first time really using YouTube, so I don't know all of the tricks and "procedures". Didn't know there was such a thing.
