what did you do?and holy crap... I need to work on my core strength... Some of these exercises.. I feel like my intestines are going to pop out at the waist band when doing them... Lol The good news is, things are looking up and she thinks I will be good as new in 6 weeks or so.
Hurt it moving a friend a couple years ago and the pain went away so I figured it was good to go, then this past winter it started acting up again, and continued to get worse, to the point where I couldn't manipulate my arm above my shoulder from side to side. Then I really aggrivated it when my bike came off the front fork lift stand wrong a week or so ago and I had to grab it with my bad arm and my shoulder gave out while trying to keep the bike up. I was standing in front of the bike to the side and using my right arm to stabilize it as I pulled the stand out from under it with my left arm... well when the bike started to tip to the right I reached and my shoulder gave out and became limp, all I had control over was my right fist, so I just squeezed for dear life and slowly laid it down till I could grab it with my left arm and pull it back up. After that fun time I had to go see a doctor about it...and here I am.what did you do?
Dislocated then?Hurt it moving a friend a couple years ago and the pain went away so I figured it was good to go, then this past winter it started acting up again, and continued to get worse, to the point where I couldn't manipulate my arm above my shoulder from side to side. pretty much, rotator cuff muscle issues. Not putting a damper on this weekend though!Dislocated then?
I will share my torn labrum story when your down here..pretty much, rotator cuff muscle issues. Not putting a damper on this weekend though!
Exact same situation with me, not that anything is damaged.. just allowing play in the shoulder joint. I pop and crack like crazy, and over time it severely messes up the tissue causing painI actually just started PT for a very old (and odd) shoulder issue. In high school (17 years ago) I was a baseball player. Jr year i started having severe pain in my shoulder after only a dozen throws. Sports med doc said i was done, major cuff damage, blah blah. I was a college prospect at the time and told i was never going to play again. To say i was gutted would be the understatement of the year lol. Since then its been true. Throw for a little while and im in so much pain i cant lift my arm. Last summer my oldest friend asked me to play 1st base on his softball team. I lasted 8 games and just couodnt do it anymore. Oddest thing though is thats the only time it hurts. Working where i do i was able to grab one of the ortho docs one day. He was baffeled. Evey test, movement, xray, etc... came back fine. He couldnt find a damn thing wrong. They happened to have a therapist in the clinic for their accute shoulder clinic. He was able to figure out that when i move my arm in a throwing motion, the ball that rotates in the rotator cuff actually rotates and pops forward just a bit. Then pops back in. So basically my shoulder is trying to dislocate itself every time i throw a ball. No wonder it hurts like a ***** after 10 throws lol. So hes got me doing a bunch of stuff to retrain the proper muscles to fire with that motion.
