Service manuals on ebay

[Pathfinder]

Has anyone purchased the service manual on eBay or one from the downloadable websites? Are they the same as a factory one in regards to quality and detail? Any info would be appreciated. I don’t want to pay 90 dollars for the factory one if the 8.99 one is virtually the same.

well, I bought one for my truck and another bike before and they both seem to have everything that the factory ones have. I don't know the name of the seller but it was an ebay buy. I will say it is kind of a pain to have the pc running and then scroll through the pdf file and print the section you need, but it's a lot cheaper.

I got it and basically it's good. However when I look at it all the work that I can do to the bike doesn't require this manual. What I'm getting at is all work to the engine with valves and so forth I'll just give to the dealer. Anything else you can basically manage without it. It's very informative and a good back up to have.
