I was looking for a winter project and I came across this:

Looked at it went home and priced all the parts it needed to get it back on the road. The forks and frame look straight. Subframe does look a little crooked, but not bad. I picked her up for $1100.

mmmmmmmmm.....I have a woodie,,,I love this project.

I'd be rewinding the coils by hand and epoxy the whole mess.

I was half tempted to repair the windings too, but then I found a new aftermarket one shipped for $40 on feeBay.

I'm going to order up a whole new set of aftermarket plastics.

What do you think about the 50th anniversary retro color scheme?:
