Removed all "warning" stickers today

Well, Today I finally removed all 4 of the warning stickers..

warning #1 Windshield sticker that talks about what not to use while cleaning.

warning #2 Warning label near gas cap

warning #3 Tire pressure settings on swing arm

warning #4 Um, Stats or somthing sticker on swingarm.



It sure wasnt easy removing them, to do it right It took me about an hour. I did windshield and tank with fingenail little by little, on swing arm stickers I used a razor blade. Then after all stickers removed I used "goo gone" to get the residue off and that stuff works and now has my full endorsement.

The swing arm stickers really bugged me so now its all nice and black back there.

While I was at it I went ahead and wiped the whole bike down...:thumbup:

Nope... it IS ugly and stands out. It is the vin number so I wasnt sure I should remove it. Not sure of the legality...

yah, me too...

i left the swing arms decals- cuz it has the recommended tire pressure info on there too. figure it might come in useful somewhere down the road- tho i would love to remove all the decals if i could too. hehehe

I wrote down the recomended tire pressures..

I dont think I removed the vin # Unless it was on a swing arm sticker

I took the little yamaha coins off of the tank too.

You guys should have stuck the stickers on wax paper for future reference. As for me I love the warning stickers.

And here I am wanting to add a warning sticker. Namely that "Don't Screw With My Bike" one that looks just like the one on the tank. I also kind of want to get that warning sticker about not removing my helmet if I'm injured, to slap on my chinbar.

i took a picture of the stickers on the swingarm, printed it out on my computer and stuck it in my manual
