Pre-ride music

So what do you listen to before a ride?

I never really listen to music, but just rode home from work and sat down to smoke a cig, turned on the radio and it was Bon Jovi- Wanted Dead or Alive (On my steel horse I ride. I'm wanted, dead or alive) and I decided I should go for another cruise. Figured I would pop on here to see what songs get other 6r riders in the mood to burn up some pavement.

It's probably not a good idea to hype-up before a ride or get too emotional or ride if you've just had an argument or something like that. (though I did manage to pull my first big wheelie when I went past the old boarding house I lived at when I first moved to Sydney, it made me angry)

It's one of those "human factors".

Having said that, I've got a good list of riding tracks, I can play most of them on guitar now. I like metal if you can't tell.

Specifically mentioning riding :
1. Judas Priest - Rock Hard Ride Free (great song).
2. Manowar - Return of the Warlord
3. WASP - Wild Child ("I ride the winds that bring the rain", usually the storm catches up to me if I'm out dodging clouds, lol).
4. Malmsteen - Demon Driver (more for cars, but oh well).

When I was learning, I'd basically say a little prayer every other time I rode, and I'm not religious, I think it helped me get in the right frame of mind in any case.

LOL this is from the netherlands brah. Well this track specifically is experimental so it might sound a little funkie to some but yea. Hard trance, especially hardstyle is foreign to people here in the U.S. Most people go like wtf when i Put some hardstyle on but some like it. Its hard stuff unlike the house that overwhelms clubs today.

I wish i could visit the netherlands or even germany and hit those edm festivals...

Hopefully Skrillex doesn't try to enter that genre and murder it like he did for dubstep :p
