Well... Wikipedia has it partially correct... however, based on other sources, most participants see it spinning *counter-clockwise.*
Additionally, this is (supposedly) what seeing it one way or another means:
If clockwise, then you are more of a right-brain individual.
If counter-clockwise, then you are more of a left-brain individual.
If you can switch directions at will, your hemispheres are not dominant one way or the other... (which doesn't necessarily mean that you're well balanced)...
If the dancer is standing still, you're dead... fall down...
