Did mine last night. 90 degrees makes it fast between coats. I didn't paint the opaque sides where the screw holes are. I used that transition for my tape line. Any suggestions on how to get the sticker off cleanly w/o damaging plastic?
what sticker??? any time peeling tape or stickers off of somting that has been painted peel at about 90 de angle and peel away from the paint not perpenducular to the painted surface.... im not sure if I described it properly... but its all in the angle

The sticker on the front "driver side" that says Notice cleaning with alkaline or acid blah blah blah...

zx-6r mirrors are great and cheap on ebay. They are extremely easy to replace.
Looks good, painting my screen this weekend since the weather here is supposed to be shit.

Grabbed a can of Valspar paint today (Gloss Black Plastic). Gonna get the screen clean and painted tonight or tomorrow sometime. I will get pics posted as soon as it's done and back together. Gonna take the bike out tomorrow and test my throttle lock as well. Will review that in a new thread as well.Well, I wanted to get a smoked screen, but on my budget I can't just yet. I read up on painting the screen and heard several different pros/cons. I ended up purchasing a can of gloss black VALSPAR paint for plastic. I painted the inside of the screen and it turned out absolutely amazing!I will check it out after a few rides in the HOT Texas sun to see if it holds up.

Mine pealed pretty easy once I got a corner started. It left some adhesive, but WD40 takes the adhesive off plastic without damaging it.
The pic isn't great but you get the idea. I had to use my phone in a dimly lit garage (was 1:30am). I taped the side opaque parts to keep a clean line and also the bevel edge all the way around. I like the clean line. Came out great and looks 100% better then stock. Thanks to all that performed this mod.

Thanks to hillcountryrider who started this thread. I may eventually buy a zero gravity db but for now I love the look of the blacked out screen.
