I've seen it before... crazy! That's back in the days... before track safety was invented. I'm not talking about the cars... that's another subject. Those thing were build like airplane. Thin aluminum with Honeycomb glue and riveted together. Nail 1000 hp with ground effect... Those cars were coffin with wheels, thank god those days are over...

Oh yeah it's amazing how safety standards have changed. These days nothing like that would ever be allowed. I'm sure you know, you're around that all the time. I just don't get where their common sense was that day. The guy got outta the car right when it caught fire, and there were other cars coming. Completely stupid to risk your life like that. Guess he paid the price..
