Dayum... really...

Looks like, in pics 9 and 10, he ran out of clearance on the right, and adjusted up... probably should have let it lowside... (I know... armchair general -- but, just sayin').

What an idiot on the riders part. Never take your eyes off the road. And damn that vette got pretty messed up hope everyone was ok either way

I mean, Fl made it illegal to have neon lights because "it distracted older drivers"...

Frames 19, 20 and 21 looked like something out of the Olympic gymnastics coverage. I was sure he was going to stick the landing.

Around frame 10, it looks like he scraped the right side of his bike on the ground. Would that have caused him to straighten up?

Hitting the brakes will stand you right up in a corner. Mixed with panic and target fixation.

I was under the impression in my MSF course that the brakes would make the bike lean more into the ground in a corner and throttle would right you. My experience so far has been that brakes in the corner make you fall more into the corner and that throttle brings you more upright.

Biggest problem with having photogs on the roads. They're great for learning, but if you pay attention to them, they can be very distracting.

Hmmm. You can see his brake light lit while he's leaning starting at frame 9. I'm not so sure that caused him to straighten up. Target fixation is pretty likely, along with a healthy dislike for old guys in Corvettes.

I'm not going to lie I knew this was going to have a bad outcome but when I was scrolling through the pics and saw he was about to run into the front of a vette I was really hoping it would act like a ramp and shoot the Harley up in the air!

Not a Harley. Triumph Thunderbird with significant farkling including the Harley-style fog lights.

As big cruisers go, they're fairly nice bikes, but they're not designed to turn fast. Got to slow them down before the corners, which is why you need to look at the road not at the photographer.
