I got my projector retrofit kit today. Hopefully it will be done by sunday.
I also put a topbox and hard cases a few weeks ago. With the hard cases, the license plate and signals were too hard to see from any angle except directly behind the bike. I will be putting the fender back on.
If someone here tested with ratio it's me! +1 on the front is the hot ticket! (17/46)
Available:
16/43 (Steel/Steel) Very similar to 17/46 within 1-2 MPG (lower RPM)
17/44 (Steel/Aluminum) Great too 1 gear over drive (16/46 6th = 17/44 5th)
17/43 I was ok but kill the acceleration way too much with no real gain in MPG
16/38 Just like you when I first got the bike (300 miles) I swap the rear sprocket
It was way too much.
Bottom line, don't care! LOL You will get use to it. Those bike are design to spin fast. Stick with 17/46 or 17/43 max. More than that it's hard on the clutch too... ya, I change mine because it start slipping a while ago.

You can hardly see the license plate and turn signals, I will be putting on the rear fender this weekend.
I hope to redo the top case mount eventually.

it kind actually looks like there is a passenger on there lol. I love bags, have them on my cruiser. But just cant do it on my sport bike.
