I think Marquez will be up there in the top 5 for next year. He's a very good rider.

think MotoGP will still draw interest and attendance at events, but yeah right, the whole CRT thing is a joke, no one wants to ride em. sure someone might get some podiums but no way do they have a chance at the championship. reason why Crutchlow is upset now combined with his teammate, dovi getting the duc factory ride. even though it's duc, he's italian and it's a big deal for him, not to mention $5.mil. - provided he doesn't get seriously injured in the next couple years, it'll all be worth it to him
i just want to know how the WSBK works... for example, what class bikes are in the races, how they are regulated. how do they score the races, what the circuits are. MotoGP's site is very easy to figure out and find all the information. But, WSBK's site is just too dense with shit everywhere. It's like needle in a haystack...

don't really see how duc screwed him over, they talked to him about signing and changed their mind. it's their decision, not his. he's just pissed he didn't get the factory ride, and i'm sure news that dovi is getting $5.mil. helps the bitternessto be expected, but still... way to screw the guy over eh?

look at it this way - rossi is the one that went to yamaha to start discussions about going back. so duc isn't suppose to be pissed their current rider is spending time and effort to set up next year while there's still plenty left this season.
it's racing, these guys have egos as big as their talent
I hate the CRT bikes. I do think that if they're going to keep them, they need to do something to bring the speed and capabilities of the Prototypes down because the CRT's aren't going to get that much faster without spending a TON of money, kind of the opposite of what a CRT bike is supposed to be.
I don't know of a website but here's the basics of what the WSBK class is.
Production based motorcycles, (factories must build a specific number of production bikes to be sold to the public for the bike to be homologated for the series.) that are heavily modified. The Superbike class is 1000cc (up to 1200cc if you're running a 2 cylinder, i.e. V-Twin like the Ducati and older Aprilia's) R1's, GSXR's, RSV4R, CBR's, etc... The Supersport class is the 600cc class. R6's, CBR's, etc... The frames actually have to come from the factory with a VIN number. There are very specific rules about what they're allowed to modify on the frame, the suspension, top end of the motor (I believe they have to run a stock bottom end) electronics, etc... They can modify the bike quite a bit more than the AMA can which is similar in that it's based on production bikes. A lot of people like it more because it's kind of the step between what you're riding vs. the pure prototype's of MotoGP that nobody can ride. People have more of a connection because of that. Also, because most of the top Supersports out there in each class (1000cc vs 600cc) are relatively close in their performance, you tend to get much closer racing, similar to what they have in Moto2 with their spec engines. They also race mainly in Europe, some of the same tracks as the GP guys, but they do go to some track the GP guys don't.

Once again Ben spies didn't finish the race. What the hell is going on with him? He used to be a great rider! Good race, very exiciting last lap, it turned out pedrosa won! I`m starting to think those points Bautista stole from Lorenzo in Assen will make a difference at the championship ending, i hope i`m wrong...
Spies is a great rider. Today you could clearly see something was wrong with his bike. He's just had some really bad luck! The race towards the end was awesome. I had a feeling Honda would come back and take it!
