Mirrored Windscreen

After doing a brief Google search and an advanced search here on the forum I didn't see anyone who has done a mirrored windscreen. What's up with that? I've got a mirrored visor on my helmet, so why can't we get some for our bikes? Is there any way to have this done? Is it even legal? If it is legal, tell me it wouldn't look sic.

It would be amazing I wan one so bad but no one makes a professional quality one. It's bs. Every other make production bike gets all the cool shit. Not fair.

Not quite every other bike, but our bike is the throw back to the UJM. In modern form of course, but considering these days the most award winning bike is ninja 1k, because it is a "do it all" the FZ8, is up there, the 6r is in line.


None of those bikes have cool shit either, too new, and none market specific.

You can always coat it and see what you come out with. Practice with some plexi glass first.

That would be sick! I'm sure there's got to be a way to do it though... I've heard of people using window tint. Maybe that would work?

I'm not a fan of the mirrored look on a windscreen myself. I use a mirrored visor on my helmet, but I hate it haha, Dark Smoke is much better IMO. Doesn't let as much light through, and just flows better.

you can use mirrored window tint. Experiment yourself or have a decal shop do it. You ought to just buy the tint and some acid to remove your f*** ups and do it yourself. That way, if you get bored of the mirror, you can take it off ant tint it black or any color you want.

From what I have read and understand, it is a pain to use actual tint on a plastic screen. The plastic "breathes" and will cause the tint to bubble up and look nasty.

Yup. I used the chrome krylon to paint the footrest on some bar stools. It looked good for that but not shiny at all

i used rustoleum silver on my scooter... ill see if i can find the picture and post it on here, you can buy it at lowe's, the only issue is its for internal use so if you paint the outside it doesn't come off but it gets soft and you can put fingerprints and shit in it, but it comes out looking pretty good.
