kickstand rotation manuever

has anyone done this with their bike before. i just learned of this today. this is the coolest thing. you pick your bike up and rotate it while putting all the weight on the stand. this will really come in handy if you didnt know this was possible.

I used to do it with my R6 all the time. I had a small garage and backing out sucked.

i dont have a garage but i do have an 10x20 shed. i always need to backit out slowly and walk backwards carefully . after seeing this video taking my bike out on the daily is going to be tons easier. is there anything the video doesnt mention that i should know about while doing the maneuver??tips and tricks ??

If your shed has a wooden floor make sure it is strong enough to support the weight of the bike all concentrated on the kickstand.

my test will be through trial and error just cause i have no way to test it. but i do know that the floor is supported by beams on top of concrete. i pray that will hold. thanks mrP.

I did it a couple time and makes me very nervous. Our kickstand is more offset than SS bikes and makes it trickier. Grab a friend and have them nearby while you practice.

I do it all the time with my bike. The only thing to think about... I have noticed some chips in my garage floor!

I'm sure this comes up every 6 months or so? Sure I read a thread before that one?
