Hey Justin, what color krylon fusion did you use? Black? it almost looks mirrored, sweet job bra. did you use gloss, flat or satin. Any one got some pics done in the blue?

Looks like a nice job. How does it look on the bike? Isn't your black?
Well, I finished it up last night and it was dark outside. Yes, I have the raven, but I am modding in a blue and black theme. I also wanted to give it a day to get nice and dry before I go putting it back on my bike. Right now my bike is missing a lot of pieces. I took the fairings off and the whole tail because I am getting new parts...I can't ride this week, because I have my daughter and she is still too little to ride. So it will wait for me...
The way that I did it was I work with a guy that does vinyl. He made me the logo, I put it on the inside of the windscreen. Then I used the Krylon Fusion paint. (Patriotic Blue) and put about 4 coats on. I masked the front and edges so that I didn't get paint on them. I was going to take the vinyl back off, that way it would have been a clear logo, but thought the white would look better. Or I could have done it in black. I do still have a stock windscreen....
Didn't someone ask to see it painted in blue?

how close is the Patriotic Blue compared to TYB? ....would you notice the difference or only if you looked hard?

Yeah I had, it looks good, was hoping to see it on a blue bike. No big deal. Going to pick up my FZ6R in about an hour already planning some mods. Thanks guy
Mine is Raven, so I would need someone with the TYB to compare it. I think the color is close, not as royal as TYB, but wish there was someone close to Chambersburg to compare it to....

Just take the screen to your local dealership and compare it to a TYB bike that they might have on the floor.
Thanks man, I really worked hard on it. It is in fact the double bubble, I think that it looks cool the way the black fades into the blue.
I don't think that my dealer has any of those left...I will have to look. I will try to find out and get a picture of it.
Okay guys. I put the windscreen on the bike. Forgive her for being semi-naked. I have taken off the fairings to do some work and waiting for some of my mods to arrive. I also have to appologize for the pictures. My cell phone hates natural light.
I think that the grips are YTB, and they are pretty close. The trip to the local dealer is going to be a bit, because I am going on vacation.
