I'm sure the Marty map will work better.... but I think he has one just for tbrHow will Marthys RevB work with TBR exhaust? Better than what I can get from the power commander website?
Glad to be of service. I love to help. Let me know if there's anything else I can do.Thank you for making this video. It is going to help a ton when I get my PCV and plates. I just got my exhaust and Viper can from Marthy today!
Depends on if you have pcv or jbp. Jbp doesn't have a connection to speed sensor like pcv. So you can't use adv gear maps with jbp. If you have pcv I've heard the adv gear works pretty much with all cans including tbr.I'm sure the Marty map will work better.... but I think he has one just for tbr
Yeah, don't think so either. Just don't know 100% that it works with ALL cans. Disclaimer. LOLI can't imagine an aftermarket can that would affect flow so much you'd need to use a different map.
(example: Viper vs TBR vs M4 vs whatever)
so let me get this straight. im suppose to hook up the speed sensor wire?
and I do also like the popping from the exhaust.
I went with the r6 header viper can route.
Mine didn't go away either, but personally, I like it. Wish there was more! Take out the silencer, decel hard, sounds like a mini SRT4 rolling up to a lightI didn't have a poping but did have sort of a "gargle" that I kinda liked. Mainly took place while slowing down .

PCV Speed Sensor wire install on a FZ6R - YouTube
For those of use who are still left wondering how to install the speed sensor wire. Yes it is very simple but how to vids save you so much time and headache figuring things out so here is a VID (slideshow)
simply find the pink wire going to the 3 prong connector as you see in the vid and take it to the 3rd from the end connection on the PCV

sweet thanks. I didn't know that I will be connecting the speed sensor. If you have a Power Commander 5 and want to use an Adv Gear Map from Marthy (Martin). PCV allows each of the 6 gears to have its own map, but needs the speed sensor input to make that feature work. I have zero popping, but even a little wouldn't bother me. I loved the deep gurgle from my Z28 when I downshifted. Block offs will get rid of most if not all the popping on decel.
Sure, no problem. Really easy to do. Just make sure to use 22-24 gauge wire.sweet thanks. I didn't know that I will be connecting the speed sensor.
So so connected it and changed maps...Sure, no problem. Really easy to do. Just make sure to use 22-24 gauge wire.

I can't pick up the front. Any way to check if I have it flashed right? Maybe that's where all the gurgling comes from, maybe my wire isn't hooked up right????So so connected it and changed maps...
big difference went from touring map to avdgear map....
took it for a ride and picks up the front end in first...
Im assuming i connected it correctly. next thing is to wire a switch going on a trip to virginia so would like to have the touring map on..
