Headlight mod

Was thinking that an awesome mod would be taking the front air intakes and modding them into 2 hid headlights and blacking out the existing headlight. Lots of fabrication would be required but would look pretty cool though.

maybe but it would probably be nearly just as much needed to mod the other one. And along with that you could have a better looking front end VS a hacked up one with the original headlight painted over.

I'd like to see the OP actually follow through. He'll likely just mod the stock headlight with an HID setup and call it good.

I also really like the look of the FZ6 front cowl, just wish they had finished it into a full fairing.

Let's face it, if you're going to do all that work, get an R1 front, the newer one with the dual projector lights - which still have intakes so you can fabricate something to the airbox while you're in there!

So many people wanting to do this lately. Why not try to get a Suzuki SV front end, and fit that? I have seen an FZ1 front fairing on a Triumph Speed triple, so it can be done. The Suzuki SV's at least had the full fairings. If you want something like that, it is going to take a lot of custom work, and money.
