fz6r vs gsx650f

So I got some seat time on a 2013 ninja 650 man its not what I was thinking it would be like...It seems to have a short power band and it really vibs below 4k even when your just trying to slowly roll on the throttle and on decal... my old 80 kz550 is way smother than that thing...I glad I got to go ride one im sold THE YAMAHA IS THE BEST its super smooth all the way around... The only thing I didn't like from the 6r was the windscreen is small for some one my size 6'2 and the seat sucks, the exhaust is to quit and I don't want to spend 800.00 for a new one. but other than that ALL GOOD

The puig touring screen is quite nice. That's what I have and like it a lot. Look good too!

As for exhaust... start at $530.00

as for the exhaust do you need to run a juice box or power commander or not.. or will it run fine with out it???

Did you share the same feelings I did on the chassis? I felt that was the one thing that saved the bike, but as a package I'd choose the FZ6R again every time.

I'm 5'10'' and have the stock windscreen. Have never had any wind problems or being pushed around.


I'd go with the FZ6R if I were you, the bike is ****ing amazing. I was comtemplating for the longest time which bike to upgrade to from my 250, and I decided on the FZ6R, and am soooooo glad I made the choice.


Never regretted it once.

Exhaust alone is fine if you keep the DBKiller in place. I sold many like that, no problem. You can add a PCV later on down the road if you want.
