Hello! First Post!

Hello, I've had my 09 fz6r since June of 09. It has since got backed over by my boss's truck, I've stalled a couple times and tipped over =P This is my first bike I've only been riding since the beginning of April of 09. I must say this has been an awesome bike and I love it. Once I stop putting money towards bills I can start doing things to my bike. But as of right now it is all stock. Here is a picture of it when I don't even think I broke the 600 mile mark yet. (currently above 3k miles now and have had my 2nd maintenance) We took a little ride out to Crystal Beach and even though it was a few months that Ike had passed it was still an eerie ride. But here is a pretty pic of my bike at the beach =) Don't worry she had a good bath once it got home.

yeah it was, i really liked that section of 78 between julian and ramona.

Take Old Julian Highway next time. It's even better. No traffic at all usually. I'll have to take you there sometime.

I was looking at the Driven D3 Grips. How do you like them? Better than stock or just cosmetic?

Driven Grips

I like the driven grips they have reduced vibration a bit and they seem to fit my hands better then the stock grips since they are a little thicker...and they look pretty cool.

all you need to do is press the center part with your hex wrench or something. it'll pop down. then just use a fingernail or flat blade screwdriver to lift it out. to put them back in just press the center shaft back out and slide it into the hole and press the center like a button to lock it in place.

Ya i got 2 of them out...its the rivets towards the top....I am thinking about just ordering some new rivets so i can just pop them out with a flathead and if it messes it up i will just replace it with a new one.

Are you not able to punch the center shaft in on them or something? I'm still confused. If you just push the center in and it pops you should be able to just pull it out. Nothing is holding on at that point. If you try to force them out you're bound to break something else that may be more expensive.

Ya, I thought about it but I think it just might be too much blue then. Less is more. Don't want it to be too flashy.
