I got a paper tac stuck in the front tire when I first got the bike. One of those plastic handled ones. Right in one of the grooves...and later that summer I had some asshat throw a handful of nails out of his driver side window because he had a hard on for bikers. My brother was in front and I was in rear.. he made it through but I rode over one because it was in the dark and it happened quickly.
The rear is wider and has a wider contact patch, so maybe it's not so odd:I wheelie 24/7 to cut the chances of getting a nail in half.
But your right, always seems like its the rear, which seems odd when you think about it.

. Calling tow truck tomorrow.You could save some $$ by jamming a plug in it and riding it to a tire shop. Plugs aren't a long term cure but this is exactly the situation they are intended for. Much cheaper than a tow, just ride nice and easy with the plug in.
