i felt like i was punched in the gut when i first read this. As a parent the thought of loosing one's child is the worst single thing that could happen.

this piece of human debris should have ended his own miserable life. why hurt others? i can't comprehend it.
 
there are no words.... I saw it flash across my screen this morning.... it's a sad day...
 
It is so sick, beyond comprehension. We must talk about it, and we need to try and fix this problem, but for now I agree we need to focus on the families who lost loved ones.
 
ive been listening about it on the radio since this morning.....i dont know what kind of monster it takes.... and i dont want to know.....all i have to say is that young man is/was a coward....

That's exactly what I've been saying. What kind of coward goes to an elementary school and shoots at defenseless children and unarmed teachers? A chickenshit coward. He deliberatly sought out the weakest targets he could. I have nothing but contempt for this worthless excuse for a human being.

I have nothing but the deepest sympathies for the families and friends of the victims.

Cannot even comprehend this. I don't even want to give the killer the gratification of acknowledging him. My heart aches for the families and friends, as well as those on the scene and what they are having to witness, experience, and work through at this time. I cannot even imagine what they are having to deal with! I pray they are able to eventually cope with the images they have seen today. This is something NOBODY should have to deal with. The kids who experienced this in their school... I hope they can somehow find peace. The parents of the kids who died.... wow... I just.... have no words, so all I can do is pray for them. Such a travesty! Just Utterly Sad!

I hope and pray that God is strong in all of their lives and can help them grieve and get through this!!!
 
I am a father of 5 year old and i could just not imagine this. So terribly awful, its just unfathomable. Prayers to all involved.
