I know everyone has posted pics of their bike, not sure if this is a rehash but here is my dream bike that I would love to have one day. Never getting rid of the 6R though, lover it too much :thumbup:

My "dream bike" was and still is the Triumph Daytona 675, and I now have it, and i'll probably get another one here soon. One bike I see worth owning twice!

Jago... thanks for bringing this to my attention! Haven't seen this one yet. The new Brutale definitely knocks the Triumph Street Triple R off the top of my list! When I can afford to have two bikes, either the MV or a Ducati 848 Streetfighter will be my next choice to join the 6R.

The Street Triple is a detuned Daytona 955i.

The Speed Triple and the Daytona 955i used to have the same displacement (955cc) but the Speed Triple has a 1050cc engine since 2011 but the power is the same as the 955i but at a higher RPM. Speed Triple and Daytona 955/595 never was a 675cc.
The Daytona 955i from 1997 to 2001 is the baddest Triumph ever Factory built. Brutal low RPM torque and approx 130 HP. Add a race can, K&N air cleaner and custom ECU map and they are still fast enough to keep up with most of the 2012 model superbikes. The Speed Triples were always like the FZ6R.....detuned....

The Daytona 675 is 675cc like the MV Agusta Brutale.

For me there's a number of dream bikes, depending on what I would be using them for.

Pure indulgence - Ducati Desmosedici

Pure track bike not for the street - BMW s1000rr.

Street bike - Ducati Streetfighter

I'm also really starting to love cafe racers. If I were to do a custom Cafe Racer I'd love something like an old Triumph Bonneville or Honda CB750. Something like this:

my dream bikes are rather simple haha.... the first one is a derbi 125... she may not be a 600 or a liter bike but she will nock the socks off a lot of biger bikes for sure!

You don't have to build one. My cousin just bought a brand new factory cafe racer. The 2012 Triumph Thruxton. Beautiful bike and very cafe looking right from the factory.

I'm looking forward to a (delayed) tax return so I can buy a new fz6r. I'm stoked, I'm excited. I can't wait. I saw the pic of that Ducati a couple posts above and I actually said, out loud: Whoahwwww.

It's batman vs. terminator, pure sexy engineering and nakedly beautiful machine-and it's perched on two wheels! It's possibly the most stylistically cool ass bike I have ever seen.

I'm not one to buy a bike on looks alone. I like the way the fz6r looks, but that's only a small part of the reason I'm buying it. That Ducati, though... Had I the cash, I would willingly put up with whatever shortcomings it had, simply to know it was mine and I was riding it. Dream bike indeed!

I'm going with the MTT Rolls Royce-Allison gas turbine...420-HP turbine with approximately 500-ft/lbs of torque. Something like 52,000 RPM

Ever since I was in the Air Force I have loved the sound of turbine engines spooling up. :thumbup:
