I get between 100-200 miles every weekend. Last weekend was no exception... except for the fact that I had to deal with my first wind incident. I managed it and kept the shiny side up, so that's a success in my book!
I can identify with that. My first bike. For myself, I had no clue how to ride a motorcycle. With the Grace of God I got it out of town and onto the back roads. I've another post concerning that first ride, you'll have to search for it if you're curious.
I did 300 miles that first day on those roads, just learning to ride. 300 miles. It was pretty much dawn until well after dusk. I ran and ran and ran. Gassed up and ran some more.
Then I rode and rode and rode. Then I gassed up again, LOL. I think I rode some more after that, but by that point it was moot. I was as much a machine as my bike was. It was glorious.
