thought this was really neat, idk about you guys but whales and dolphins are so intruging and mysteriously intelligent. Id have loved to be the guy in this video. Ive been whale watching 4 times and got to put my hand in the mouth of one and touch its "teeth"...soooo cool! :thumbup:

I love nature, I think I'll have to do whale watching soon, but my favorite time of the year is when I get to go camping and solo hikes. How much is it to go whale watching?

depending on where you do it, I did it in nova scotia/halifax, alaska, prince edward island, and in british columbia. Ranges from $40-$150 a person depending on the charter, so on and so fourth. If I can rummage some pictures up from it I will post em!

That's so incredible. One of the things I do actually miss about the job I left last summer are my customers in the aquatics industry. Sea World was one of my biggest customers and I got to see/do some incredible stuff behind the scenes that most people just don't get to do. Another customer built large scale aquariums and aquatic parks all over the world. I sold products that went into Dolphin wading pools, in the Bahamas, Hawaii, Dominican Republic, etc... as well as products that went into gigantic personal aquariums like at the royal palace in Saudi Arabia, Dubai, all over the world. It was by far the best part of my job. I would go see the facilities guys at the Birch Aquarium in La Jolla anytime I felt like checking out the aquarium. I've had fish tanks a few times at home as well.

That reminds me of those divers from the Blue Planet (awsome DVD collection bty) that filmed (from inside) the bait balls that a frackin school of 6 ft tuna were shooting through while feeding at high rates of speed.
That would scare the crap out of me.
Those fish weight up to 300+ lbs moving what...15-25 mph or better?
