Camera mounts wanted...

Looking for the best type of mounts, tank mounts, handlebar mounts, basically any neat place I can put one. I have suction mounts but they will only stick on the side fairings and the tank is too curvy for them.

Any ideas? I don't use E-Bay.. I hate E-Bay and have my own reasons of aggression toward it.

What's the camera brand?

Go-pro has all kinds of mounts as far as I know.
Friend of mine has his on his seat cowl sometime, on his race rails other times, even sticks it to his helmet on occaision.

for stills, you'll be ok, video.... not so much. unless the camera is made for action sports, even if it says it has IS, it won't cut it (trust me, I tried with my Cannon S2IS and the video was still so shaky it was unusable...)

isn't the Zi8 the older model?

Toofless has one of those, and his vid's come out really good. He has also made his own mounts for it with home depot and parts laying around the house, very cool.

I think that will be my next camcorder.... my gopro stand def is fine for now, gotta get my money out of it (but when I got it, the HD models were $200+).

The Zi8 is not the older model but the non-waterproof and has a jack for mic and headphones which I really liked about it. So I may look into it down the road. I have to decide on that or the center stand.
