bikers stop traffic again......

Great... more stunters giving bikers a bad name...

Thats what my friends and I do....we have permission to a few lots out in the warehouse districts.....its out of the way from public for the most part, big area for gathering and "tailgating" for spectators, and we dont get in any trouble for it. Best of all worlds lol
 
A few bad people will ruin motorcycles for the rest of us. Look at the gun laws and what happens. Pretty soon you will have to fill out a bunch of paper work wait 8 months and pay a $200 tax to buy anything more than a vespa, lol. I know its a little exadurated....

Shhhhhhhh.....this lady might hear you and try to classify our bikes as high speed assault motorcycles and try to ban them. :D

Yeah, REAL Idiots!

They will already have you for doing one thing, now lets be stupid and do other stuff to give them more to charge you with.

Very True!!! The writing quality wasn't the best... Funny, I am seeing pretty poor writing on alot of news sites lately. Almost like English 191 is no longer required in the college programs. :) News sensationalism at its lowpoint! :)
 
I call all news today tabloid quality reporting. I can't even justify calling it journalism any more.

I still have respect for "Time" and Nat Geo, they seem to still pride themselves in proper journalism.
 
it's because of jack-asses like them that i try and be especially nice to cagers when i'm out riding. i consider myself a courteous driver, letting others pull out into the lane, not running yellows, etc. But when I am out riding my bike I make even more of an effort to put my best foot forward to try and show others that not all sport bike riders are jerks. Not sure how much good it's doing with a-holes out there countering my every move, but every little bit helps.

and of course all those in the video were squidding it up. so cool...

Not smart at all and they really make it look bad for the rest of us.

Awhile back my friend was pulled over on the freeway by a Highway Patrol Officer. The officer gave him a warning and asked him to slow down. He also thanked my friend for being fully geared and let him go.

I m fully gear all the time when I get on my motorcycle. And in California you can split lanes, but I am not one of these crazy bikers that would do 60 miles between cars either. I think it's just out right stupid to do that.

Recently they just came out with a guidelines that you can split lanes, but the speed can't exceed 30 mph. It doesn't stop the crazy ones, but now it's more easier to ticket them. Good!!! :D

Yeah, my wifes dad retired from the Army, and then after about 15 years as a IT person quit the job he had at a Major health group in MN to now be the Main Manager at a gas station 2 blocks from his house. Says he enjoys it much more. He is friends with quite a few of the County Deputies and once when I was in there, he said they told him they wouldnt pull me over for speeding as long as it wasnt insane because I was FULLY geared in like 100+ temps...... They didnt know I was related to him now and but I still wouldnt want to test their comment! :) Although I hate to say on the county rd (officially its a state hiway though) I have passed them going the other way about 10-15 over :oand they dont do anything, though i let off the throttle a bit when see them.
