Back/spine protectors

I am thinking about getting a back/spine protector for everyday riding and one that is suitable for hot weather. I was looking at the alpinestars bionic air protector, knox kompakt, knox fastback or something like that. Basically something comfortable, well ventilated but offer protection. Any suggestions?

i have a knox contour back protector and dont ride with out it.
i have had 2 offs and its saved me twice.
the first time i would have broken my back as it was a fast crash
and its comfy as well when warn in

I like the style of it, also the lighter color is really nice for not getting too hot during the summer. I'm hoping to get one later this summer but they are currently out of my size. I'm looking for other suppliers to see if they have one in stock.

Well, I want something I can take on and off easily and quickly for my commutes to work. I am leaning towards the Knox Contour. Sportbiketrackgear has them on sale for $149.95 or the Knox fastback. I just need protection for my back since one of my jackets already has shoulder and elbow protection. My leather jacket does not have any armor at all so I want something to wear under that.

I've got a forcefield pro kevlar L2k, and i really like it. Very slim and not hot at all. The straps are nice and wide, none of the adjuster are in uncomfortable spots, and it is easy to get on and off.

Revzilla sells them (and have a review online), stg doesnt. I got mine for 135 in february.
