I'd like to see some photos of how you mount them once you do.

I could use some ideas for myself as I think I'm going to order a set of them for the ninja 1k

My headlight does pretty good for the most part but I would certainly like something better. I also want to setup a potentiometer to be able to vary the power like the clearwaters have to that I can have a variable setup and then once I get down the power levels I want I might just make a dual brightness switch to mount on bars so that I can flip them or I'll just integrate it into the hi\low switch. not sure exactly how I want to do all that just yet.

I like the idea. 3 position switch with 12V on one side and 8V on the other side. Not sure if it's how it work but I'll dig for some info. Might just need a resistor on one side?

Martin, a friend made brackets and mounted these the the caliper bolts off the lower fork legs, thus squirrel lights!
They worked awesome!

Here they are... Got them late today. They are a bit too bulky to be mounted like my other ones. I'll make a braket and use the caliper bolts.

Here's a quick look of the lights on the bike. Nothing fancy... Got the braket from Lowes this morning, almost perfect. All I need to do is trim the braket to clear the caliper, cut the excess by the light and paint it all black.

I had the electrical all sort out with a 30 amp relay and the switch was already installed. So all I kept for the loom were the sweet connector.

Ill finish all that tomorrow on my lunch time. Need longer bolts anyway... way too much work for a Sunday. LOL

Still need to adjust them a bit, good weekend project. So far I really like them. SO BRIGHT! I'll take pictures also...

I also install a voltmeter just because I got screw with the other set of lights once (middle of a bike parade in Laconia) and wanted to make sure I can keep an eye on voltage.

So at freeway speed it's more than ok, nothing to worry about... even with high beam on. It keep the charge to 13.8V. At idle it goes down to 12.0V on and goes up to 12.5 off.

More than enough juice for those lights. If you plan to be idling for a bit I'll suggest you to turn them off just to give the charging system a brake. But for regular stop and go with a stop light here and there... it's fine.

I might need to remake those mount bracket I made. Because what happen is it parallel with the front shocks. So when I pivot the lights outward to adjust them the light end up crooked a bit. Work fine but look funny... That's a project for next year.

Conclusion.... $200.00 well spend!

I like how it fills in the near with the high beams on...
Now you just have to make a nice CF housing to make them aerodynamic

Marthy, those lights are awesome! I think those are perfect for halogen or HID projector setups. With Projectors that would solve the unlighted road in a turn. Great job testing them!

I remove the little bar that hold the cable and wires together. Since I use the Renthal 787 handlebars I had to reroute everything, so the bar was useless for me. I use the two 6mm bolt (10mm socket) that hold the bar to fit the carbon dash. Look nice and clean!
