Yeah, first album with the new band. Def the most challenging material I've ever done, and my fav.
After 3 years of my wife's junk in my garage,,tomorrow we are having a Yard Sale to get rid of it,,,and I get my garage back (YAHOOO!). Sunday my daughter (Jess) will play a DBL Header Base Ball game here at our local field and my son (Cale ) will either Umpire Base or Home Plate. Also Sunday evening I have a band practice. So we will be busy!
kokanee is beer? lol I didnt know it was fishStandard weekend... Takin the boat out and catching some Kokanee! Try and get a ride in as wellGoing to do a valve adjustment on my Grandpas 87 450 Rebel. Then plan on smokin up the fish on Sunday. Yum...
I work from 8:00am-6pm tomorrow, and I live an hour and a half from work so tomorrows pretty much shot. Sunday I am going to the fiance's parents to hang out in the am, and early afternoon we are going to my parents for a bit as I havent seen them for like two months?...job, school...life happens. Hopefully taking the bike to both their houses lol.
There is a kokanee beer, but Yes it is a fish. It is basically a land locked salmon. Beautiful red meat. Super fun to catch.. Some of the lakes out here have a 25 limit on them. So if 3 of ya in the boat, you can bring home 75 in one day! Stay for a weekend and you can pull well over 100 if ya lucky.
Now THATS a good day fishing. I am lucky if I bring 5 home a trip.These are kokanee... Very good tasting fish. Almost better than fresh Atlantic salmon
(in some peoples eyes.) We call them silver bullets. It is an addiction fishing for them. You get to use all sorts of different color hoochies, wedding rings, apex's, dodgers, flashers, anything to piss em off since they attack out of aggression, not hunger. I think they only eat a type of plankton, so you have to get the junk right in their school and piss em off! Its fun. 
Hmm - well tonight is in a 4 star in Aleyeska Resort in Girdwood AK. Tomorrow bumming around town, and Sunday hop on the MS Stattendam for 7 days of inland passage cruising.... :rockon::rockon: (unfortunately no bikes around to ride, but have seen a lot of "adventure" bikes up here - may have re-plan another vaca up here!)

Wife left me on Thursday morning for her scrap-booking weekend, I'm one kid short (staying with the in-laws). The other three and I went on a shopping spree yesterday, had lunch at Hooters, then stopped by my buddies place where he was prepping the bikes for the track (track day on Sunday, camping out tonight).
Today is movie day, sit around and be lazy.
Tomorrow we head to the track to watch our friends and celebrate a few birthdays. Oh, and the wife will be back home then too.

Getting some miles in today on my new FZ6R! Then coming back to pick up my beloved's new FZ8 at the dealership. Brand new "His and Hers" bikes... gotta love it!
Then we need to get to work finishing the bike I'm racing at Bonneville. 22 days until we run at the speed trials and this thing is nowhere near finished! Going to be down to the wire. ugh!

They're sockeye, just a landlocked variant, as JSP said. They run a little smaller in size than their ocean-going cousins.

The ocean-going reds are mainly plankton eaters as well, though they occasionally eat small crustaceans. Growing up in Alaska, we just netted them off the shore until they closed that sort of thing off on the beaches within a reasonable distance to us. Then we just dip-netted them from a boat. The limit was something like 20 for the head of the household and 10 for each member thereof. Lot of canning and smoking went on during that time of the year.
Anyway. To get back on topic, I plan on having a relaxing weekend; watch a couple of movies with my girl, maybe go out and spend some time with my dad where he's camping out at, hopefully go out and try out my Mosin-Nagant rifle, practice firing my pistol, and organize the papers on my desk.

roflmao! no... no track for me, just photo work and support.
Still need race boots and leather pants to get on the track.... and all my money's getting tied up for my Indy trip. Hoping to hit the track next year though. We do have a fellow FZ6R rider (Luber on here, he's more a lurker though and says the site is great for info) hitting the track though, I'll make sure to get lots of shots of him our there :thumbup:
