Hey guys, tried to do a search for this and found a couple posts about clutch free play but nothing about the throttle... i was just wondering if anyone knows how to adjust the free play on the initial turn of the throttle - mine feels a little too loose and would appreciate the extra control provided by slightly less free play, especially when trying to downshift smoothly while on the brakes, the extra 1/2in of travel makes the bike slightly less predictable/controllable in my opinion so some input would be great

Underneath the assembly of the throttle, there should be 2 covered cables protruding and going down in front of the forks and into the bike. At the base of the one nearest to the gas tank, there should be a nut and thread like plastic piece. You need to loosen the nut, then turn the plastic piece counter clockwise to add tension onto the throttle cable. Let me know if you need pics to help you find it.
