You could get a stripped down first gen SV650S down to around the same weight and would have a much better powerplant with endless modification options and spare parts galore. They are cheap and easy on tires from what I understand. Just throwing it out there...
I agree. When I did my track day there was a new Ninja 250, the rider was so/so but the bike so slow it was unsafe. The closing speed was crazy. SV650 would be a very good choise.
Have noticed that a track 600SS can be had for about $3,000 to $3,500. I saw a Ninja 636 that looked like a great deal, all prepped, all the right track goodies, for $3,000.
Just need to become employed again, know anyone needing a Learning and Development Director? Got 15 years experiance, willing to relocate.
