I am looking for some handle bars for my CL rebuild i figured id check with anyone on here before going to the local dealer. Im not sure how long / wide the stock bars are but they are 7/8 diam.

I see a lot of people swapping the stock handle bars for clip-ons. What's the deal with that? What's the motivation? Is there some advantage to it, or is it mainly a cosmetic kinda thing?

Tweaked the bike two weeks after I bought it because I was getting sore thumbs and hands. The culprit was the stock angle of the brake and clutch levers being far too high. If you too are experiencing sore thumb joints and hand cramps I strongly recommend this fix.

I was wondering if anyone has tried flipping the handle bars upside down and turning them so that instead of rising, they would make the controls sit lower. In my head it would counter act the handle bar risers. so this would be similar to clip-ons. what do u guys think?
