there is no replacement for displacement.
it's nice being able to pull from any gear at virtually any speed.
really all depends on what you want from the bike though

i only got below 40mpg once (39.8 I think). I did mostly highway driving, and probably averaged 44mpg.
Even when I rode it like I stole it, I still averaged low 40's. 100% highway could get almost 50mpg :D
i ran givi's PLXR364 and 364FZ sidecase and topracks, respectively, on my 6R.

just a note that dragging a knee is actually just for indication purposes. it's to let you know how far leaned off and over the bike you are.

gotta agree with this - the FZ6R does just fine, though the braking and accelerating suffer.
i want to say it was 3-6 months for me, maybe? short ride around a well-known, low-trafficked area.
with my ninja1000 now...it really doesn't care about having the extra passenger on braking or...
