I haven't had much interest in the bike with the add-ons, so I think I'm gonna pull most of them and throw them up here. I have the following:
Motodynamic Integrated Tail Smoke lens - SOLD
Motodynamic Flush Front turns - SOLD
Roaring Toyz Lowering Link - $30
Modified stock exhaust, would be...
I have a brand new pair of Dainese TRQ Tour boots black in size 44. Just ordered these straight from Italy, turns out I need a size 45. So rather than dealing with return shipping I figured maybe someone locally is looking for these awesome boots.
Looking for $330 which is what I paid
Alright I have a 2013 Yamaha FZ6R here in excellent shape with a lot of new parts just installed. I picked this bike up with 3,000 miles on the clock and now have 14,661 trouble free miles. The bike has never given me any problems, runs like a champ and of course you get that Yamaha reliability...
I'm sure you probably could, but for what these costed I didn't want to cut them up at all to make them fit. After doing some more digging I found out I could get a pair of Gigi quick release sidecase brackets and a pair e22n hardcases for only ~$60 more than I paid for these soft cases. So I...
Alright so I received both the Givi and SW side bags tonight. Here's my opinions on both.
Quality - Right off the bat, the Givi bags appear to be of better quality. They just seem better made and they have reflective piping sewn around the sides and it definitely stands out. They just feel like...
I actually really like that tail bag, I was also considering the Kriega bags when I was looking at tail bags. The only reason I didn't go with a tail bag right now and went with panniers is because I have a short inseam, 28". And having a lot strapped down on top of my rear seat makes it really...
Thanks for your guys' input, that ammo can idea is pretty badass. If I had a welder I'd definitely look into something like that. Unfortunately with the timeline I'm looking at I needed something pre-made and ready to fit. I ended up ordering a set of Givi EA101 bags, and the SW-Motech Blaze...
Alright guys I haven't made a post on here in a while now, but I guess that means I've been loving my FZ and haven't found anything I needed to change. Until now that is, and I'm looking at storage. I started out with a magnetic tank bag but that ended up putting a small crack in the paint on my...
I picked up a magnetic tank bag from one of my coworkers a while ago that worked well for me. Had enough room to take all the necessities for the daily at the office as well as a change of gym clothes. However after noticing a crack in the paint on my tank from one of the magnets I decided I...
Good info, the scraping might be a problem for me. I tend to ride aggressive in the corners every now and then and might see a track day or two a year, that's a big maybe. I haven't scraped pegs yet on it but I don't have much of a chicken strip on my tires.
Ok so I'm looking at lowering my bike a bit. I don't have much trouble day to day but I'm on the balls of one foot with one foot on the rear brake at a stop. I know it's bad for the geometry of the bike to lower the rear more than the front. But from what I've been seeing most people have...
That's actually a solid point I forgot to mention, nobody I've talked to on the phone while riding so far have been able to tell I'm on the bike. And I'm using the small flexible mic not the boom. Haven't had any issues with that so far.
I have the Sena SMH10R which is the low profile unit, for what it is and the size of the speakers they have decent audio quality. Nothing amazing and not terribly loud. Wind noise can definitely drown it out doing 70+ but for around town and short trips its great. No messing with earphones or...
Have you checked your battery terminal connections? It's possible with all the snow and moisture that the terminals have corroded and that could cause you to not get enough current to the starter.
Hey thanks for throwing this up here, this is one of the last mods I really want to do to mine. How's the leg positioning with these? I know the stockers make it really uncomfortable to try to shift when in a tuck.
