Fyi, you'll know it when you fry wires... Typically occurs when a flame and plume of smoke are moving fast... and all you can think is "oh ****, oh ****, oh ****"
That and you might want to grab some zip ties, to tie down the resistors for the front. for the rear, i found tucking it along the body piece that the wires run through, was sufficient. other than that, you should be good to go. Pretty easy install as well
Came with an adapter piece and muffler to allow small slip ons (haven't experimented with what will fit though)... Keep in mind i had the diy kit, which required cutting and welding my OEM exhaust. If you're not comfortable with cutting and welding or don't have the skills, then Marthy offers a...
Try hitting some flat black exhaust spray paint on it, should help cover some sloppy work. And if it's a chrome style tip you could tape up the outer half to give a pretty cool two tone look.
But agreed, most won't notice anything, esp if you don't bring it up, lol!
Got my zx6r mirrors installed last night. Was hoping to trim down the oem boot, but didn't like how it was turning out, so left em off
Side note, found out the smaller clips on our bikes are push/pull style... Had no idea (until last night) that you could push the head to get it to unlock -_-
Just bought a 13 in Jan, cost me almost 7500 out the door. Was around 67-6800 before charges/taxes/etc.. Ask him to disclose exactly what was in the price hike. Mine flipped the computer around and shown me the complete breakdown of the build, freight, state inspection, etc
Ha! someday i might, but he keeps the keys close by and i haven't mustered up the need to ask to borrow them... Yetttt
His bike was actually one of the main reasons i got the 6r over a ss. At the time, I didn't like the feel of the ss bikes (new to bikes and didn't feel confident/comfortable)...
My two cents and parts background will back this. You may get away with not overheating the bulb/filaments, but i doubt it and would def leave it as is
but then how many people would attempt to text while riding  looking at you suv moms, that don't know how to check your surroundings before merging!
I've only owned this pair of riding shoes, so may be skeptical but these are pretty nice. known as "alpinestars fastlane", they fit well and don't burn my feet up while riding. I run a pretty wide foot and don't find them constricting at all. As can be seen, the soles are rather thin so if...
congrats on the purchase! I'm quite the new rider as well (bought/rode my first motorcycle in late jan)
another tip... if you can, stay out of therange of cars.. learned very quickly that even if they LOOK at you, they dont see you. so i tend to get past a car or let off and allow them some...
Man, small world... I'm always riding down 7 to Sterling and back. 9/10 wearing a black stickered up helmet, black on white alpinestars jacket. Will try to keep my eye out for you
