Ok, thanks - just a battery, as far as you know, not something more complex?
Reason I ask - trying to figure out if I can just jump start, ride to dealer, buy battery, install, and be able to drive off.
thank you.
Yes.. unfortunately it came about due to a person in my life having access to a key. Not sure exactly what they did though - I assume left the electricals turned on for a really long time?
Hi, I have a 2012 FZ6R, and some bad people broke into it, broke some stuff, tipped it over and drained the battery.
I was able to jump start it ok, but even after a while, the battery didn't appear to be recharging at all (if I turned it off - nothing). The electrical display kept going...
Does anyone know for sure what the 'manufacturer's specs' are for the torque for a 2012? It's not anywhere in the manual that I can find:

or in the sliders' manual...

Hey sorry to hear about the drop, I too went down today, very little damage but need sliders.. mind if I ask what sliders you have that did their job so well? thanks.
Hi, sorry if this is a dumb question, but after about 300 miles my gear shift lever pedal is 'sticky' -- I have to stamp on it to get it to change gears, and sometimes it 'sticks' in neutral when I'm stopped and I have to rock the bike a bit to get it to drop into gear. Is this something that...
Hi new here and have new '12 FZ6R, I live in DC and have to park on the street during the day at work downtown, and at night outside my apartment. I have had bicycles stolen from back yard here so I figure everything is fair game.
I wonder two things:
1) what kind of lock do you use? I am...
