Update - Fixed! Sorry it took me a while to get this updated. Pic below. Got a "Genuine Yamaha" replacement bolt, for $2.38 at the dealership, and installed it with Loctite. As FastFreddy suggested (thanks!), I loosened the other bolt and made sure the cylinder actuated properly before locking...

The exhaust! I think a more traditional exhaust would not only take care of that, but look much better! Seems like everyone who can changes it. :D

In short: Rear suspension bottoms out, I lose a rear cylinder screw, REAR BRAKE STOPS WORKING. Must reinstall screw, and increase preload due to license plate damage from fender eliminator kit hitting rear tire. Will report back. See image. Yesterday as I was leaving home I stopped briefly...
