look out - possible thread hi-jack! OK I'll prob. start another new thread, but in case this one gets seen first..
Marthy, I know you've shipped plenty of OEM exhausts, what is the cheapest, Fedex ground or? I know depends on from/to where, but what's an estimate cost? thanks
Very nice, and bad boy bike is right, it's an ANIMAL!
I think my 07 ZX10R is a beast w/150HP that has no electronic aides etc., at least the newer ones have latest technology to help control 200HP
My advice would be to buy used, not new. That way you won't take the $ hit as much if/when you sell/trade.
Get the bike that stirs your soul the most.
I have a cruiser also, and suggest when you finally have both, make sure if you ever ride them back to back same day, you ride the cruiser...
Uship should not be that much, I've done it a couple times with success, your cost should be about 0.25-0.33 a mile. If you put a listing up there, at first you will get high bids from shippers hoping you just take one, you won't get the good low bids until literally last day or hours before...
a month or two ago, a couple guys on the yamahafz1oa forum scored some left over FZ1's for I believe 6400.-6700 OTD from a couple dealers in Indiana - smoking deal!
yup my bookmark still had the old domain name, and when it went to yami today I thought oh great now they took over 600cc.org
under the forum's Site Navigation here top left - http://www.600cc.org/forum/cmps_index.php , if you click on FZ1, FZ6, FZ8 link, they go to yamahamotorsports
yes it does vary by state, current one I'm in is a lot easier than some, no major paperwork long as everything matches up, they check in their systems etc... in NY you have to show proof in receipts for all repairs that were done.
not 100% sure, but I believe most insurance companies will not...
the email prob. won't have as much impact as a face to face. since it's your dealership, and assume you want to go back there even just to look around... take a deep breath and approach her again, if she doesn't remember you, calmly remind her of the conversation and explain how she came...
should work just fine. although I would test it - once it shows fully charged and in maintain mode, take it off and see what the battery reads. if you don't have a multimeter yet, harbor freight always has free coupons for them
