So you're saying its not turning over at all? Could it be you left it in first gear with the kickstand down, or the kickstand sensor is unplugged? Ruling out those possibilities, does it click, turn over or not make any noise at all when you press the starter?

Well yesterday went on a nice little 530 mile ride, so today I washed off my bug collection and did the usual chain maintenance.

He's completely right. You can hear the bike sucking air easier when opening the throttle past 75% and the response is quicker, much quicker. Did some major boring out of the bottom about 6000 miles ago and still going strong.

A few gas stations near here sell 103 or 108 octane race fuel. It was like $8 dollars last year so I can only imagine what it is now. As far as I am concerned, I run 91 usually. I notice small differences when I am cold starting the engine and need to run it.

Check the Air box and air filter, make sure there are no obstructions or critters that could have made a nest inside it.
