Without those spikes that BMW would have gone down in about 10 feet. He sure was moving around as it was. I think I will stick to dry roads for now.

It's regular 87 octane for me. Usually I start up the bike then put my gear on. As soon as I am ready I hop on and go. Usually take it real easy leaving the neighborhood and by the time I am out the gate the bike is warmed up.

I could probably gain 10 hp just by loosing a bunch of weight. LOL....well it would feel like it anyway.

In addition to MSF take a few minutes to read the manual. There are a lot of interesting tidbits in there it will save you a lot of time.

I agree with yellowfz! I was in an accident in the mid 1980's and my left hand was jammed between the handlebar and the clutch. It broke two fingers....with these I would be missing two fingers....no thanks!

I did a 1500 mile or so trip this summer on the 6R. The stock seat is a brick with vinyl on it! Other than that raising it to the higher position gave my legs a little more room which was way more comfortable. All in all I am glad I took the 6R instead of the Triumph Rocket III because it was...

My thoughts as well. If you notice the stria match the curve of the tire. If you had slid or locked up the tire they would be at an angle.

Don't forget to read the how to on installing these. There is a great write up here on this site! I got the regular length levers and love them. You do have to make some adjustments to the brake actuator and I didn't like the slop of the clutch so I took the bushing from the stock clutch lever...

I think you are barking up the wrong tree here. If you are looking for a deal try bike trader. If you have found so many private sellers willing to sell for that low why don't you pull the trigger and get one? What are you waiting for? Let's see the pics......
