Does anyone have any advice on trying to get the most value back from the insurance? The bike was in excellent shape with only 1000 miles on it. I've never had to put in a claim before and I dont want them to rip me off.

In this case it would be the poorer stealing from the poor. :)

Sometime between 10pm Wednesday night and 6am Thurdsay someone stole my bike right out of the parking lot next to my apartment building. Owned it for an entire three months. Worst part is, after I rode it Saturday I got lazy and didnt put my Xena alarm. Im kicking myself in the ass now.

Just curious to see how far people are commuting on the FZ6R on a regular baises. Mine is just shy of 75 miles each way, so about 150 miles per day.

Decided that it was time to start using my bike for the long commute to work. 72 miles each way. Not the most comfortable ride but the savings make it worth it.
